Data Sources & Independence

Our analysis is only as good as our data. We rely strictly on primary regulatory filings to ensure 100% accuracy and unbiased evaluation.

Official Regulatory Sources

ViewIPO does not generate its own financial metrics or rely on third-party aggregators that may introduce errors. Our AI engines ingest data directly from the official repositories of global financial regulators.

SEBI (India)

Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) and Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) filings from the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

NSE & BSE (India)

Live subscription data, bidding status, basis of allotment, and listing day metrics directly from the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange.

SEC (United States)

S-1, S-1/A, and F-1 registration statements filed via the EDGAR system for US-based offerings.

Editorial Independence

ViewIPO maintains strict editorial independence. We are not a broker-dealer, we do not underwrite IPOs, and we do not receive compensation from any company to feature or manipulate their IPO score.

  • No Pay-to-Play: Companies cannot pay to improve their risk score or suppress negative analysis.
  • Algorithmic Objectivity: Scores are generated deterministically by our algorithms based on the mathematical realities of the filings.
  • Conflict Free: Our researchers are prohibited from trading in the IPOs of companies we analyze prior to their public listing.

A Note on Grey Market Premium (GMP) Data

Unlike the financial data pulled from SEBI or the SEC, Grey Market Premium (GMP) data is sourced from unofficial, unregulated offline dealer networks across India (primarily in Gujarat and Mumbai). GMP is highly volatile and susceptible to manipulation. We aggregate GMP data purely to track market sentiment, but it is explicitly excluded from our core IPO Risk Score calculation.
